After slaughtering numerous superheroes and destroying Genos's core to provoke Saitama, Garo receives cosmic power from this entity. Their cataclysmic duel spans the entire solar system before Saitama prevails. In his final moments, realizing his actions led to the death of Tareo, a child he had bonded with, Garo reveals his true intention was to become the world's singular evil to force unity among the weak. Before dying, Garo teaches Saitama time travel, allowing him to return to the past and subdue Garo preemptively.
